    Hey Marc,
Congrats on the Masters swimming story… very well done!
In high school, college, and later the military, I swam in competition. Haven’t been in the water since 1966.
I replaced competitive swimming with another sport that went on to become my obsession for several decades… sport parachuting.
In the last 20 years, my individual competitive drive has waned and I’ve developed a team sport mentality that lends well to organizing world freefall formation records for Skydivers Over Sixty.
Your story on Masters swimming sparked new life into my old passion for competitive swimming. I located an old pair of Speedos and started swimming laps at our community aquatic facility.
My short term goal is to prepare for the 2010 Florida Senior Games at Cape Coral in December.
Future aspiritions include returning to national medal award ceremonies and at least one Gold medal before I retire.
